20th Anniversary Gold Eagle Sets

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Gold Eagle, the US Mint issued two special sets. The American Gold Eagle was first offered by the United States Mint in 1986 as a bullion coin and collectible proof coin.

The 2006 20th Anniversary Gold Eagle Set included a 3 coin set. The three coin set included a 2006-W Proof Gold Eagle, 2006-W Uncirculated Gold Eagle, and 2006-W Reverse Proof Gold Eagle.

A two coin set was also offered. This set included a 2006-W Uncirculated Gold Eagle and 2006-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle.
