20th Anniversary Gold Eagle Set

The 20th Anniversary Gold Eagle Set was offered by the United States Mint in 2006 to mark this notable occasion. The set included three one ounce Gold Eagle coins struck with different finishes. The coins included the proof version, collectible uncirculated version, and reverse proof version which could only be obtained in the set.

The 2006-W Reverse Proof Gold Eagle featured mirrored raised design elements and frosted background fields. The coin had a mintage of only 10,000 due to the limited number of sets produced.
